Built In-Kind is located on the unceded land of the Awabakal People.

We wish to pay our respects to this spectacular country, and to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and extend that respect to Elders, past, present and emerging.

We acknowledge that building and construction are tools of colonialism, which continue to inflict violence upon Country, and are used to perpetuate divide between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australia.

We hope to respect country by teaching an ethic of care and consideration when building, to consider who we are building for, why, where and how – so that we do not commit further violence against our precious landscapes and our communities.
