In May 2024 Built In-Kind hosted a series of pop-up knife making workshops with Melbourne based blacksmith and artisan Liam Culbertson.

Over a very rainy week, we held three classes, guiding people through the forging, shaping, sharpening and handling of utility and kitchen knives! From Liam we learnt about the properties of steel, and how heating, cooling, shaping and sharpening create the perfect knife!
